With my EVO, I could sync the notification and phone volume sliders and by adjusting the volume with the physical rocker button, could lower both volumes simultaneously. With the SGS3, I don't see the option to link them together. I am oncall 24x7, and invariably, I'll lower the volume for my cell phone when I get to work, but alerts still are loud because I forget to manually go into settings, sound, and lower the alert volume.
Is there a way to link these up so that I can adjust both with the rocker switch? I always want both either full strength or just barely audible, depending on if I am going to bed and might get a call or page at night, or at work where I don't want them super loud and just noticeable. I frequently miss vibration only alerts, so I need some sound.
