Just found this out.

I know this might not be the right forum part, but its the best I figured.

SGI is stoping production of ALL x86 PCs. That is the 330, 340, 1450, 1200, 1100, and I belive even the Zx10.

This is good for the company. They needed to get rid of the weight of the stuffed up Intel format. Oh and all you AMD supporters they are not going for AMD systems. :D

Hmmm, so are they still making ANY workstation hardware? (I can't remember if they stopped developing new RISC-based products). I know they had gone full-blown Linux and dropped IRIX.

they never droped IRIX and they are still using it as a main platform
