SGI minitor for gaming digital or analog?

HAve the capability of bithg on an Evga AGP 6800 512MB card, and, or course, the Sgi superwide will do either analog or digital.
Is rthere an advantage to using the digital output?

If the monitor is an LCD you should use DVI. I don't think it matters if it's a CRT.
