SGI 1600SW LCD

Is the SGI 1600SW LCD display still good compared to today's 17 and 19' lcd's? Like the Samsung 191T etc...

I remember that thing was the holy grail of LCD's about 5 years ago, but I think it's probably been eclipsed by today's technology. There's some info here. Apparently the pixel response time is 40ms, not that great compared to modern LCD's.

Its a pretty dated unit. It cant stack up to some of the newer displays now.

except that the dpi (or whatever it is for LCDs) is better than anything else on the market.
