SFF case cpu fans

I just built myself a little server/file storage in a Tigerdirect Microfly case and it works well except the intel hsf starts cranking up to much noise after its on a while. I'd wanted to use my old XP-90 HSF but it was too large because of a bar in the middle of the case. What would be a good hsf thats the same size as an intel hsf but with better cooling? Thanks.

There is a thread at where a guy cut the brace and installed an ultima 90. Other than that it looks like a Zalman would be the best bet.

Thanks for the info. Zalmans are good for quiet pcs so I'll have to see which one will fit best. I did consider cutting the brace but finally opted against it.

I cut the brace in my Silverstone lc13 a few years ago with no notable ill effects but, I was able to leave a decent ammount of it there with my XP-120 and a fan mounted to the outside of the case blowing through a hole straight onto the xp-120. In your case I could only get a view of the cross member through the side windows but it looks like there's a lot of crossmember there. I don't suppose you could give use a shot down at the motherboard installed in the case from the top??
