SFF build - need wireless kboard/mouse suggestions

I am building an SFF using an Ultra Micro Fly case, but my holdup at this point is determining what wireless keyboard to go with. The range will be at least 7', with 14' being the farthest I would use, so right off the bat IR is ruled out.
Bluetooth sounds like a good choice, but the prices on these kboard/mouse bundles is horribly high due to its exclusivity. So that leaves me to go with an RF setup.
Now, the interesting part .. how about ditching the mouse entirely and going with a keyboard with integrated trackball or pointer ? Quality is never as good as separate components but I refuse to roll a mouse on my pants leg as I lounge on the sofa to get where I need to go.

Anyone offer up any units that fit the bill and can be had for under $80 ??

90% of the time, watching recorded TV. The other 10% to surf. I was originally thinking MCE to watch TV on the 32" plasma hooked to the SFF, but BeyondTV seems a better fit after reading up on both products.

Well, for that kind of use, I would say go ahead and jump on a keyboard with integrated mouse-like controls. A pointing stick would be ideal, but I dont know if you'd be able to find that.
Touchpads are common and easy to find. Trackballs are nice, if you are a person who likes them, but they would undoubtedly be harder to find.
As for wireless type, I cannot help you there, because I personally do not use wireless, as wired has slightly better reaction time for gaming.

I'll look around at things like that, post links if I find anything nice.

I've found Bluetooth to be sort of jumpy. I would suggest going with RF instead. And like you said, stay away from IR. I have several wireless keyboards and mice from Microsoft and Logitech, plus various RF remote controls from companies like ATi, and I am pretty happy with them. For my TV I am using a Microsoft Wireless Laser 6000 Desktop (on my Xbox actually):

Found this kboard but it is IR. Sooooooooo close ....

If I wouldn't use it to surf at all, I could just use the remote blaster and forget about surfing.
