SFC does not seem to work in Win Xp like it did in Win 98?

Just curious I tried to run SFC by typing it in the run window box, but Ill I get is a small window that quickly flashes and goes away, way to quick to read it. Does SFC not work like it did in Win 98? Anyone that can shed some light on this thanks, I hope I did not screw something up in XP by trying to run this?

it's command-line based in XP. Go to start-> run, and then type 'cmd' in the line for what to run, and then type in SFC at the command prompt window that opens up. It'll give you the options for what you can do.
