SF people: does Coit Tower close at night?

I have a few friends coming in from the UK and I want to take them there at night but I've only been there during the day. Is it open at night?

you can still go to the Parking lot and enjoy the views from there. You just wont be able to go up to the tower.

DOn't bother going up anyways. Twin Peaks has a much better view, provided you get in before the fog rolls in, and isn't $5 or $10 a head, whatever Coit Tower charges now.

Go to Twin Peaks or to the area around Sutro Tower for a really good view.

i doubt there will be any fog tonight judging from my view of twin peaks now...do that over coit tower
