Pretty cool movie, cheesy special effects but had me on the edge of my seats. This is the first movie I have seen that uses Internet Explorer and not Netscape or other browser (at least the icon).

The ending was stupid and Demi Moore was scorching.

OLD flick. And Do-Me Moore did look good in it.

Try About Last Night, too, if you like seeing more of Moore.

yeah... back when CD-roms were hi-tech, this was a pretty decent movie, albeit the book was better :)

Bleh...the book was way better than the movie. Crichton's books are almost always good, but the movies based on them suck, IMHO.

I thought Jurassic Park and The Lost World were ok movies. And E.R. seemed like it did okay in it's day.

Anyone who says Jurassic park was good never read the book. I saw the movie first, and I loved it. Afterwards, I read the book, and now I think the movie sucks in comparison.

What always got me was the fact that Digicom was a REAL company, and they actually DID make modems!!

edit: I agree about Crichton books not being suitable for movies. 'Timeline' is gonna be a major suck-fest. I think they're just too geeky/techie to make good 2-hour movies.

The 13th Warrior was a good movie. (based loosely on Eaters of the Dead)

Jurassic Park, the Lost World, Congo, and Sphere all left a little to be desired, but they had their moments. I never saw Rising Sun or the Andromeda Strain.

Couldn't agree more.
