Showers schmowers. In a month I'm moving from Agoura Hills, CA to Seattle.

Bring on the rain, baby!
Just in time for the rainy season too, which always begins around Halloween.

Winter in Seattle looks like this: High 40, Low 38, overcast cloudy with 2000 ft ceiling, showers.

We had a severe frost warning last night when it was 70 out and had my window open. And then I woke up this morning to < 35 degree weather...

<3 Pittsburgh.

Like the new 168 Market 🙂?

It took over the Vons, right? Haven't had a chance to check it out yet. Maybe when the "severe" weather passes

There's no "weather" here (SoCal). I spent most of my life in upstate NY - plenty of cloudy skies, rain, snow, freezing rain, hail, strong winds. I get excited whenever I see any form of precipitation beyond 'sprinkle', which isn't often.

Yeah, I'm pretty familiar. I grew up in Spokane before migrating down to SoCal some years back. At least I won't have to deal with heavy snow too frequently.

I'm so looking forward to this rain. Dang! It's been a long time.
Supposed to get 1", that means mud slides in the burn areas.

Ever seen a desert flash flood? Remember the flooding in Las Vagas several years ago?
That's what the warning is about..That and the burn areas.
AlhamBRA, L.B. & L.A. will do just fine. 😀 The burn areas up on the Ridge Route will not do well.

yeah, i only saw a few young girls there. 🙁

gotta find another spot to search. any reccomendations?

I too grew up in Spokane. Been gone since just after Mt. St. Helens did it's thing in 1980. I've been in NoCal since 87, and don't miss the snow a bit (after 7 winters in the Rockies)...but I DO miss the green up there. I was in Spokane last year for Lilac Parade, and I had forgotten how green it is there.
