Over 1,000 US lives have been lost and over 10,000 Americans have been wounded...and this is besides the tens of thousands of Iraqis who've died.

"What are you looking at? It was an honest mistake. Sh!t happens. Life goes on. Now watch this drive."

So he invaded a nation, unprovoked, because there was a chance, although there was not then and has not been since ANY EVIDENCE of such, that they might join other "outlaw" nations and terrorists? That's why we've lost over 1,350 troops, thousands wounded, killed 100,000 Iraqi civilians, razed cities, become the recruitment poster for terrorist organizations, damaged alliances, destroyed U.S. credibility while we're spending nearly $6 billion per month on a war that the experts all agree we cannot win?

Ridiculous. The only reason I can remember hearing from Bush, Rice, Powell, Rumsfeld et al was the "grave and gathering threat" that could "come in the form of a mushroom cloud." But please feel free to re-write history as needed to justify this horror.

I think there are enough disgruntled Iraqis with bombs and American soldier fodder right now. BBond is far more useful providing commentary on this forum.

BOBDN, is that you? It's good to be in the opposition isn't it? With thoughts like that, you'll remain in that position for years. Your one-sided view is too obvious for a healthy debate.
