To get the results you normally have to work hard. People always say "he was lucky." Bull. He or she made their luck because they worked hard.

There is value in hard work.

The value is in results, if hard work is needed to obtain those results then so be it. Indeed if you produce 100 units of production in 4 hours via better methods or natural talent then I'll probably reward you more than your peer who produces the same 100 units in 8 hours but "works harder" than you. There's a reason why billionaires tend to be the people who come up with new ways to do hard jobs and make them easy.

Sadly this is true.

I know people who are in their 30s who are currently getting food stamps and rental assistance. I told my friend that he's going down a bad path, because the more assistance he takes from the government, the more dependent he's going to become. Not a good position to be in.
