i finally found a use for active desktop!! 🙂
now i have the graphs from my stats updating every 5 min right on my desktop.
best part is they are real time graphs so it doesnt matter when stats run on the server(every 5min) I get the most current stats 🙂

hrmm in regards to active desktop. is there any way to make it update without the update coming to the front when it happens(very bad when playing unreal2k3). theres no update window just a systray icon, but it still switches to the desktop every time it happens.

running win2kpro with ie6, all windows updates applied.
 
I refuse to use Active Desktop, so I dunno 😉 You'ved moved into 9th for 24 hour production, btw 🙂 And look at the graph for team production in the last 24 hours - its well more than doubled just from you and confused coming on board! The TeAm has already moved into 5th place in terms of 24 hour production! 😀 😀

new version of SB is online! anyone with a P4 is going to love this because it's now 2x as fast. Athlon and P3 are about 25% faster so everyone needs this.

Houston, we have a problem
i will go and post it on the SB forum, but maybe somebody here has an idea

with
Win XP , i have multiple user accounts on my kids pc
i log in and get SB going, then lock my screen/switch user
this puts the pc back to the user login screen

here is where the problem begins

daughter logs into WinXP with her account

SB starts again, with a different process, but working on the SAME blocks, so now i have two instances of SB working on the same work, but at half the speed
which ever one finishes first, seems to send the full test in and get a new one

this is killing my output , i know SB dosn't launch from the startup menu/folder, so it must be a registry setting
i will go post this on the SB forum
 
Also went up, from ~125k eMS/sec to ~170k eMS/sec, on an Athlon XP 1800+ @ 1686MHz (147*11.5) 🙂

And have also got it running side-by-side with Seti on my Athlon 1.0@1.43 too 🙂

As well as my Duron 850 server 🙂

And that's all my computers i have 🙂😉

And moving up the ranks quite quickly 😉😀
 
problem solved, i turned off the "auto start" and am now just manually starting SB on my account
so my Athlon 1.4 and XP1600+ are back to it 😉 (with the new .99 client)
