Great minds think alike
I just finished downloading ipcop for that very reason.
I'm tired of having to reset my linksys router 2 or 3 times a day. Everytime it stops working FaD stops on three machines I have connecting to my Fad server until I reboot them.

Lol coquito go ahead and game, 5 days to obliteration 😛

I am downloading ubunto-warty lol

Mine is I keep getting hacked thru the router.

I want edo see him go thru that ugh

I'm running SB on Ubuntu warty, Wolfsraider 🙂

It's pretty simple stuff but if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

me too 😛

one question

did you start it like ./sb sclient.conf in the root terminal?

or is there a better way?

almost as fast with one client as I was getting w/2 also its set to use 100% in the task manager vs 50% in winxp 🙂

I really like this distro, but I have to add more apps lol

i got the nvidia drivers enabled woot as well as all the plugins etc...very nice layout (I prefer Gnome to KDE 😛 )

Generally I run it in an SSH window because I'm usually on the windows box, but 'nohup ./sb' will mean it keeps running even after the session/terminal are closed. Oh, and I copied my sclient.conf to /etc to avoid having to type in its location every time I started the client 😛

I'd like to run SB on startup but it's a little too complicated for me (Linux needs to work on this, it seems that every distro has its own way of doing it), but I don't reboot that often so it's not too much of a problem 🙂

as in ' nohup ./sb sclient.conf '

or is that not necessary due to copying to /etc?

<-----Linux newbie warning....um to copy that to etc... can you give directions lol

ok I entered set it up by cd /home/mike
then cp sclient.conf /etc/
then cd to /etc/
dir and its listed there

then I rebooted
cd /home/mike
cd Downloads
nohup ./sb
and it started nohup

its listed in all processes.
I am using 100% of the system

Is there any way to monitor it now or am I going to have to watch the stats 😛

Thank you for your help and suggestions

mike
