My Aspect is running 3 minutes behind the network this weekend. It is all overtime though so I don't care. With these two days of ot and holiday pay for thanksgiving I am getting the equivalent of 5 days extra pay next week. Nice christmas this year.

My next time sheet will have:

88 hours of regular pay
20 hours of OT

Effectively 118 hours of regular pay, at $12.15 an hour, for a two week period.

Sad thing is I won't be able to enjoy it. It's primarily devoted to getting me out of debt.

I know. And it's not like I won't get ANY of it, I do plan on buying some stuff from quietpc.com. Making my PC quiet is almost as fun as making it fast was. Fast yet quiet is much more challenging than just fast.

Pansy? Nah, I just can't sleep with much noise. My SC750 w/14 fans was as loud as many vacuum cleaners.

Water cooling's a little too freaky for me. For a while I was seriously considering a water cooled peltier setup, but decided against it. I finally realized how ridiculous my computer really was. Fast as hell, but even now with the vast noise reduction it's 95% as fast as it was.

No, I didn't get the job. I think they understated their qualifications they asked for. I was well beyond what they asked for, yet they seemed to expect me to know stuff they hadn't mentioned in the job description. Like setting up mail servers, configuring frame-relay access, etc.

But, I did get a different job where I've been for the last year. WAY less stress, 10% increase in pay, plus so far pushing 40 hours of overtime in the three weeks I've been in the LAN group.
