FYI, the venomous-snake special "Seven Deadly Strikes" is on Animal Planet this evening. It is a profile of the seven most dangerous snakes in Africa. This the best such show I have ever seen, in that the host (some kind of Afrikaaner photographer) seems completely nuts, gets bitten not once but twice, and even returns to photograph one of the biting snakes the same day. Definite sense of danger watching this one . . .
