setup trouble

Hello, as a secondary pc i have a dell dimension xps t450, I wiped the drive clean, installed windows ME on to it, and installed a linksys eterfast v10/100 ethernet card. I am 100% positive the driver is installed correctly, but when i go to windows ME's networking wizard, it tells me that there are no network cards installed on the system, any ideas? Thanks

Of all Windows flavors WinME is the most Network Unfriendly.

I would ?Downgrade? to Win98SE or better Upgrade to WinXP.

However it should install, try manual installation.
