Setup of new system

I have a friend who's going to get a new system very soon, and these are the specs:

Duron 600
ABIT KT7
ASUS 7100 MX
SoundBlaster Live!

And some other stuff, but basically I wanted to know what kind of software I need to tweak everything, drivers included.
 
setup the same system for my little brother except a fortissimo instead of a sblive. It went together flawlessly, running the 5.30 drivers for the asus 7100 (on the disk, work best just not as fast, and they have the asus 6.18s now too) Just the via 4-in-1s, etc as far as software setup goes, and coolbits and reference drivers if you really wanna overclock. I'm using the Via 4.24s on his system, and he says no lockups except for occasionally unreal tournament. My system with a V7100 andf the 6.26 drivers never locks up, but occasional shut down error and the start button wigs out (texture corruption) I've took my V7100 up from 175/166 to 200/210 with no problems, GREAT VID CARD! That system should be a piece of cake to get going, good choices on products (except the sbLive, the fortissimo is a better card for less! Just my 2cents.
 
OK, I have the newest SoundBlaster Live! drivers, the VIA 4-in-1 4.24s, and the Detonator 6.26's. Is there anything else I need? I omitted the parts that work out of the box.
