"setup is starting windows" problem

HI,
I have the really annoying problem of xP getting to the "setup is installing windows" stage then the computer hangs and after 5 mins comes to a stop screen 0x0000007b, ive disabled acpi and dont have any scsi equipment, and just a graphics card installed, any ideas what the problem could be.
