Hi, I know, this is old stuff

Motherboard: SOYO SY-7VMA-B socket 370, VIA PM133 + 686B Chipset, 66/100/133MHz FSB

Processor: Pen III 933MHz SL4ME 933/256/133/1.7V

Ram: Two Sticks of Kingston ValueRAM KVR133X64C3/256 PC133 3C 256MB Total 512MB

Video: going to try the onboard S3, or a Asus AGP-3400TNT

Windows 98se

I know, old stuff, I like putting this stuff together and seeing how they run. I'm also going to use this with some old games that will not run on Windows XP

Looking at the manual, the motherboard offers all sorts of option on settings. In one section it requires you to set the CPU Raio and CPU Vcore Select, I'm guessing that this will be set for me if I use the auto option, but what would be safe yet aggressive setting for this combo.

I've never overclocked before, but this motherboards manual even suggests it. Need help in doing this.

Thank you

Jim

It really just depends on the specific processor you have. I dont' knwo what the stock vcore of yoru proc is, but normally a 10% increase is considered safe. If you want to overclock, do it little by little and test for stability after each jump.
