Good Morning Folks,
I've searched near and far regarding solid performance overclocking on this particular motherboard with the Core i7 920 C0. This is my first time overclocking an i7 as this is my first time owning an i7. Please post as detailed as possible on your BIOS for the Asus P6T. I really want to get out as much as I can out of this CPU.

By the way, R.I.P, Michael Jackson.

Thanks,

Gerry-

I don't think there's anything you do necessarily different for a CO...just that the reports are you'll likely be able to get higher on a DO.

That said, to the best of my recollection (not at home at the moment)....my settings are:

BCLK 170
Memory at 1604

Past that, i just locked in some voltages.
Vcore and QPI at 1.25
Memory at 1.6 (hair under the recommended 1.65 for the memory).

That's 3.4Ghz with temps at about 70 after 15 minutes of prime. Haven't tried going higher yet, it's only 6 days old :) We're in the middle of a heatware (100+ outside most of the week) so i'm holding off til the temps go down a bit before trying to go too far. Gotta lot of work to do this weekend, but i may go for 3.5-3.6.
