Settings for 1400x1050 laptop display?

I have a laptop with a 1400x1050 14.1" screen running Windows 2000 Professional.

I'm having trouble finding a good desktop setup, right now I'm running extra large fonts and am not really happy with it.

I'm just wondering how other people set up this size display.

My laptop (DELL) runs at this native resolution as well, but on a 15" screen. I just leave text size as they are by default. I don't have 20/20 vision, wearing glasses, but that resolution doesn't bother me at all. I was a little worried at first before I made the purchase, but it all went well.

Perhaps you can try downsizing it to 1280*1024 and see how that goes? Interpolation shouldn't be an issue on newer laptops.
