Is there any way that I can flag certain icons from the system tray to not hide automatically like WIndows XP does to unused icons? It hides my new mail indicator and my battery power thing which are two items I don't ever want to be hidden. I don't want to turn the option off completely since there are some icons down there that just take up sapce....

Anyone know of a way to selectivelty choose which icons disappear and which don't?

Hi Frankie,

You can right click on the taskbar and choose properties
At the bottom right corner there will be a "Customize" Button
Click it then you will see a list of applications, you may choose any application that appears in your task bar and option it to hide always, show always, or hide while inactive. Set it to Show always for the two apps you want to view all the time and you should be set.
