Setting up VPN Server on Windows XPSP2

Hi people,

I'm having major issues getting a VPN connection between my VPN server on Windows XP SP2 and any client computer. The server is behind a Netgear ADSL Firewall/Router (with VPN passthrough enabled for IPSec, PPTP and LT2P). The VPN server is setup to be 192.168.0.2 and the Modem/Router is 192.168.0.1 with a static IP address.

For some reason, I can connect by VPN within the network to 192.168.0.2 directly, but I can never connect outside the network (by connecting to the public IP address).

I have checked and double checked the settings, is there some "bug" or something else that is stopping this from working?

Thanks!

By the way, the error i get is an Error: 800 Unable to Establish the VPN Connection. The VPN server may be unreachable, or security parameters may not be configured properly for this connection.

Solved! Thanks for the help! Seems that there was McAfee Personal Firewall installed as a service! McAfee Personal Firewall, Windows Firewall and Hardware Firewall... any more paranoid?
