Setting up VPN for gaming? Warcraft 3

Hi, me a friend would like to play some lan games on Warcraft 3. Instead of logging onto the internet and playing can I setup a VPN so they can log in to my system and play as lan?


If this is possible how would I do so? How do I setup this VPN and how do I host the game so he can join? If he connects into my VPN will it act like a lan?

I am running Vista 64 bit Ultimate and he will be running windows XP pro SP2

check out hamachi for creating a vpn tunnel between your networks. this will allow lan games over the internet...vista and xp supported.
