Setting up two routers, one wireless, one wired on one cable modem...

Here's the situation: We have our cable internet running through this d-link wireless router. Everything works, but the thing disconnects randomly throughout the day, and many times at that. We have another router sitting around though, a Linksys. And as of right now, there are 3 wired computers, with 1 laptop that's solely using the wireless connection.

Would it be possible to do this:

Cable Modem --> Linksys Router --> Wireless router

The 3 wired computers would connect to the linksys, along with the wireless router, which would allow the laptop to surf. I'm hoping that this would allow us wired users to solely run off of the Linksys, which should be free of these disconnections.

you don't even need a crossover cable if you use the uplink port on ehte linksys. I am currently doing the exact same thing right now.
