setting up SSL in Tomcat

I am not sure if this is the right forum but I will give it a try. I am trying to get SSL to work in Tomcat and everything I read mentions putting the Certs and Keys into a JKS keystore and I can not seem to figure it out... my files are .crt and .key and they want a .keystore... they way I have it set up now I just get 4 boxes whenever I got to the secure area. Anyone have an Idea on how to convert .key or .crt to .keystore?
