Just moved into an apartment with 2 others roommates. I am not fond of having them use my computer with my account. Any tips or advice on how I can set up a user for them, and what rights I should give them? Basically just want them to be able to surf the net, not access any of my stuff, and not be able to download stuff. I have 1 user set up now , Admin which I use. Thanks.

Create a User account for them, which is very limited in what it can do.

If you use NTFS filesystem, you can make your folders private too.

Right click the folder you've created, select 'properties' - 'sharing' - tick the 'Make this folder private' box

In order for me to click make private, I have to drag it to a shared folder folder. That is on a harddrive with limited space, so dragging it is not an option as this folder / contents are huge.
