I'm trying to set up raid 5, I've got my drives and have set up the raid partition, I then booted onto my IP35 drivers cd to install the raid driver onto a floppy disk.
When booting into Windows XP cd, I select F6 to install a raid driver and chose the 32 bit version as that's what I have, it then loads everything from the CD and gets to "Setup is starting windows" and hangs there, for well over 10 minutes. I'm guessing it should be quicker then this or is this right?
As far as I can tell I've done everything right but for some reason the cd freezes and leaves me unable to install my os
Edit - After a couple of attempts I've managed to get it past the setup is starting windows however when I got to insall XP on the raid partition I'm given the error "Setup cannot access this disk".
I've made sure the drives have all been initialised and when clicking to delete partition on the cd it tells me that I can't because the cd has copied temp files over to the drive
