Setting up printer, Ricoh on a win98 workgroup

Please help if you know,

I have a client that has a Ricoh africo 1022 that is self contained...it doesn't have a computer it's attached to, it is just attached to the switch, and configured with it's own ip address and does its own management. XP easily connects, just by entering the IP address.

In Windows 98, there doesn't seem to be an option to enter an IP address to connect to a network printer....it just gives option of entering \\computer name of print server\printer name....this isn't an option here.

Any help at all? Wow, I'd appreciate that. send a reply to dogma420@hotmail.com

using hp 3rd part software for ip address only.....that is what i just found....can't do \\ \name cause it's just an ip no dns whatsoever.....big ricoh, looks like a photocopier, has its own print server....ipadd\name doesn't work cause it doesn't have a name.
