in another forum i found a program called Waste, which allows a small p2p network to be set up. for some reason, i cant connect to my IP. ive set port forwarding on my router to allow port 1337 to be connected to (thats the default in waste) but i get a "network down" error and it cant connect. i am running no software firewall, only a hardware with my router. what should i do?

It would help if we knew something about the program. You failed to include a link to their website, which certainly would help. :)

how is waste, I'm thinking of giving it a chance. Can you please post (or e-mail me) some screenshots. I can't seem to find any. I wanna make sure that it's like KaZaa where you can search (and it would search files in your network). Because I've seen some other Private P2P programs and they look like FTP connections where you only connect to one machine at a time.
