setting up NNTP

I have a win2000 server running IIS and i am trying to set up a nnpt server. after getting it set up i can log into it from another computer and see the newsgroups that i added in my list, but there are no messages in the newsgroups. anyone have any ideas what i am missing to download current messages?
Any help would be appreciated

at our office, we have a T1 connected directly to the 2000 server box from a switch. we have IIS 5 setup on it. we are trying to access a real newsgroup. we can post to it within the office but can not get any of the messages that have been posted outside of the office. Basically we are not getting this newsgroup from the company that hosts our T1 and figured we could host this newsgroup ourselves. I am not sure if this new info will help. If anyone has any ideas i would really appreciate it.

You'll need to get the NNTP feed from your ISP or some other commerical or non-commerical NNTP feed. and if this perticular newsgroup is not on your ISP's NNTP feed, you'll need to find another source somewhere..
