I just got my computer hooked up (details in my signature link) and I need some help getting started.
First, what is the best stripe size to use on my 80GB RAID-0 array?
Second, is there any way to install win2k WITHOUT the use of a disk drive? (starting from scratch, so i can't run setup from DOS)
I initially installed windows98 on one of my hard drives and everytime it loaded the OS (after restarting) it would stop loading after the Windows98 logo appeared, then went away (there was a flashing _ ) After restarted EXACTLY 2 more times, it would load windows. Because of that i couldn't install any drivers. Why did it do that, and if it does it again what can be done?
