the N/B Strap is the FSB:RAM divider, if you have a "C" Processor you want to use the 5:4 or 3:2 dividers depending on your memory and how far you wanna go on the FSB. With the 5:4 and 3:2 divider, it runs the memory asynch from the FSB and the memory speed will be lower than the FSB. For example, at 260FSB you use the 5:4 divider which gives you 208 on the memory, 260/5 *4 = 208
