setting up my computer as a wap?

I just recently bought a motorola wifi PCI card and put it in my computer.. and I'd like to use it to share wireless to my laptop.. I've got a seperate ethernet card for my internet connection..

I've looked around on google quite a bit and have tried using windows xp to host the network and it asks me what I want my SSID to be but I haven't had any luck.. it says it completes the network but everytime I go to search for it on other computers it will not work.

So here's my question: Is there maybe a third party software app that will do this job?

First, configure the two Wireless Card to work in AAD-Hoc Mode (read the card's manuals).

When you have a Wireless connection switch ON Windows ICS.

BTW, you can find a Wireless Cable/DSL Router for less than $20 (on sale) and you set you system this way, http://www.ezlan.net/netwprk/router.jpg

It would work much better using a Wireless Router.
