Setting up Multiple monitors...

I am trying to add another monitor to my PC. I am using the main monitor off a AGP video card and another monitor off a PCI card. I installed the drivers for the second card with no problems... I thought if I go to settings under monitor properties I would be able to configure the multiple monitor setup... but there is nothing there that shows a thing about multiple monitors. What steps must be done to show the multiple monitors? Any thoughts?

I have also tried to set up multi monitors with little luck. The only time i got it to work was when both cards were ATI. Good luck!

What OS are you using and what Cards?

And change your primary video adapter (in BIOS for Win9x).

AGP=Diamond Stealth Extreme
PCI= Generic 4mb Video card

Just one thing--before you go through all the hassle you should check and make sure your PCI card has driver support for multiple monitors under W98. The list is surprisingly small--I found one after doing a Google search (and like jammysammy alluded to--half the list was ATI --plus a FAQ of sorts that might help you. Unfortunately I can't remember the address...

Yup... no driver support for multiple monitor support... have to find another video card around here that has support...

The second video card is...
STB Velocity 128 3D PCI (Nvidia Riva 128)

Any thoughts? Is there a multiple monitor driver out there for this?
