Setting up IDE Raid and strip size ?s

If I want to setup IDE Raid for a WinXP box, Raid 0, what steps do I need to take? What stripe size should I use? I will be doing a lot of photoshop, games, and general net stuff.

Anand did a review of RAID controllers a while back. The software RAID solutions (highpoint/promise) have a max stripe size of 64KB and that was what he found gave the best performance.
