background- I have my home pc running on dial up :( This is the only reason I have a home phone. We are paying around $50 for the phone and internet service.
I work out of town 10 months out of the year, and I want to get a laptop for my camper with internet service.
The question is, What do I need to set up my home pc to run on the wireless setup like a laptop does?
I plan on getting a laptop with a built in wifi card and using my cell phone company to get service. I think it is around $50/mo.
Can I use the same service for both computers?

Any help would be great.

Thanks!

I just wanted to be able to basically have two interenet locations at the same time. My wife uses the pc for school, and I would like to set up a laptop in another state.

Infrastructure is sharing the same connection, correct?

infrastructure is when there is an access point, ad-hoc is peer to peer, u cant pull this off if ur laptop is going to be in another state...

oh, u mean like 2 cellular cards? get 2x service... prolly cheaper to do dsl...
