Setting up Birthdays on Outlook 2007

Is it possible to set up your contact information's birthdays on outlook 2007. Also could you make it so it reminds you like 5 days in advance? Thanks guys. I know if you go to contact information you can put the birthday in, but I want it to remind me in 5 days and I am not sure how to add that. Thanks!

You can create an appointment (meeting) in the calendar for every birthday.
To set the reminder:
Open the appointment from the calendar.
On the "Appointment" tab, in the "Options" group, click on the pull-down beside the bell icon.
You can select different times up to 2 weeks.

There is an option for 4 days and one for 1 week that are the closest to 5 days you want.
