setting up an ftp with g6 ftp server

I d/led g6 based on some recommendations. I was playing around with it - I went into options and found my IP address and then I created a user account for myself. then I tried leech ftp and cuteftp to try to log into my own ftp site but it wouldn't work. is it b/c i'm on a 56k line?

You have to click on the icon to start the server and the icon to activate the server or something

I did it...but it wouldn't let me connect to myself.

What OS are you running? If you are running Win2K install IIS

If you do not have a static IP and are running Win 95/98/98SE/ME try this service DNS 2 go

This will resolve your IP address and fix your problem
