Setting up a Win2k3 server (DNS server)

How do I assign it a static IP? I have a Linksys router which connects my Server along with my one computer running XP Pro. Do I just change the settings within my network connections where it asks to automatically assign the info?

Network Properties, TCP/IP, give it an address, a mask, a default gateway (probably your router), and an external DNS .... or, depending on yor DNS setup, point the NIC DNS to itself.

you're setting up a 2k3 server to do DNS...and you don't know how to set a static IP? Like Scott said...good luck...
