Setting up a VPN -- need help

Hello all. I am trying to set up a vpn daemon on a solaris shell account at school so I can get access to some resources from home. I was wondering if anyone knew if (a) there was an OpenVPN binaries out there for solaris since the server does not have all the necessary libraries to build it, and I need to do some serious cleaning to get enough space to install the necessary libraries, or if there is another option out there. I do not have root access (obviously), but we are allowed to bind services to portranges that are visable from the internet.

I am a cs major. The server I want to set a VPN up on is behind the university firewall, but has open ports avaliable to me, and is a "general" server i.e. all majors have an account on it. The server I need to get access to is a CS server, and the CS network is behind a much stricter firewall then the general server is, but it is wide open to the general server.
