Setting up a trust between 2 win 2003 servers?

We have 2 servers at work, both with Win Server 2003. I'm trying to figure out how to create a trust between them, but all the articles I find are for NT and windows 2000

I dont know why they arent on the same domain

Would this be a nontransitive or a transitive?

oh and how do i test if this worked?

thanks

There'd have to be at least three domains involved before "transitive/non-transitive" would be applicable.

Your question reads like you only have two servers in the office, and each was set up to be the root server of its own forest. If this was the case, I wouldn't live with it. I'd DCPromo one of them back to a workgroup, and then join it to the other domain.

Edit:
Let me revise that.

If there are only two servers and they ended up (unintentionally) on two different domains, I'd recommend bringing in somebody familiar with Active Directory to review what you have and fix the problem. There's likely other configuration issues, too.
