Uggg. I'm beating my head on the wall trying to figure this out, it can't be this hard or I'm totally overlooking something.
We just bought a few HP LaserJet Pro MFP M127fn for the office. All our printers here are setup as shared printers on our file print server. When I add a new printer I first set the IP address on the printer then on the server (2008 R2) I select Add a Printer, pick network, pick printer not listed, add using TCP/IP address, use auto detect for the type and enter the IP I chose for the printer. It then finds it and installs the drivers I downloaded from HP's site. Everything appears to go fine, no errors etc. but nothing will print. I can print through other means but I cannot for the life of me get it to work over the network. If I browse to the IP in Chrome I get the config page as expected so I know it's working.
Thoughts?
