Setting up a secure wirless network

So I set up my router that a friend gave me and it was locked with a network key. So I reset the router and now its unsecured. I know you need to type something into the URL and go from there but I forgot how to do that.


Any help?

Please let it be known that I sort of need an idiots guide to from where I am now.

Any if you aren't sure what the IP address is here are a couple of options:

1) RTFM 😛
2) Open command prompt > ipconfig /all > the gateway is the router IP address
 
if u get online and look up the website of the company of your router, they should have all the info step by step to do what you want too.
