Setting up a NT4 Domain

As the NT Server is set up now, it is running as a Workgroup server. When I try to change this to a Domain, it gets the error "Cannot find Domain controller". Is there any way to change over this NT Server to a Domain server without reinstalling Windows NT4 Server?

Sounds like you setup the NT server as a "member server". You should be able to re-run the setup and switch it to a PDC, or BDC without creating a mess(Done this a few times). However, before you start make sure you have a quality backup(or 2) on-hand, just in-case...

Good Luck...

Ohhh, the answer is yes and no... It won't be a re-install, it will be a re-setup...

Thanks for the help... I'll try this at work tommorow... but I'll just skip on the backup, becuase everything is easily replaceable, and only 1 program would cause any trouble setting up again... thanks again.
