Setting up a NF7-S

I can't seem to be able to locate a thread that shows the best way to go about setting up a NF7-S.

I'm interested in the optimal BIOS settings (stable bios version) and the proper sequence of loading Windows XP/SP1, Nforce Drivers, Video Card drivers etc. In addition to any other particular tid bits of important information such as what to avoid etc.

Basic system will be:
NF7-S ver 2.0
Barton 2500
HyperX 3500
Radeon 9800 Pro

Thanks for all of your help!

Wow, no takers?!!? This is the opportune time for some resident expert out there to flex their vast computing expertise and lend a helping hand.

Thanks Again!

Best Regards

there's no wrong way to eat a resees.

i'd leave the settings alone .. my bios had LAN disabled for some reason. But go through and make sure sound and lan is enabled and leave the other settings as is. You can tweak them later and if windows doesn't load, you know something went wrong. At default, everything should go smoothly.

I'd get SP1a + newest Nforce2 drivers from the site. and in order ..

SP1a , Nforce2, Video, then any other drivers. From here you should have something stable. If you use something to backup, then do so now.

from here you can tweak and install how ever you like.

Ok, thanks for the input. The computer is up and running. Now I need to get some utilites to "scheck it out." Doesn't Win XP Pro come with a UnZipping program?!!? I downloaded a zipped file and it won't open it......
