I have been using Zone Alarm 2.6 but I could only access the my ISP only once before I had to reboot. I uninstalled Zone Alarm and not the install program will not work. I get to the screen to type in my user information and the <NEXT> button will not ungrey to finish the install. Any help would be appreciated.

<EDIT>
Since I have removed Zone Alarm I am able to connect to my ISP more than once.

I have uninstalled zone alarm 2.6.362 and I can reconnect to the internet multiple times. I then re-installed Zone Alarm and the problem connecting has came back. :| I think I'll try the 30-day trial of Zone Alarm 3.0

The latest ZonaAlarm Pro works great in XP. For IE to log onto the internet correctly you have to go into ZoneAlarm and give IE permission otherwise you will have the problems you reported.

Try Tiny Personal Firewall like SuperT commented on. I use it and it's great. I can use it for ICS as well without buying the $40 version of ZoneAlarm. :)

ZoneAlarm Pro does a lot more than act just as a firewall. It also filters your e-mail for viruses. I also use McAfee antivirus running in the background so I get double protection. I am sure Tiny P. also works well but nothing like getting full protection.

ZA Pro has been selling at a discount for $29. That sale may be off by now because I have not checked recently.

I have no doubt that ZoneAlarm Pro is the bomb. I was actually thinking about getting it after I put a second box together. But ATM, I really can't justify getting it. I only speak from the freebie ZoneAlarm exp, though.

Maybe we should just all buy Routers that we can configure as firewalls. :)
