Setting up a Digital Sound System

Hey,
Well I currently own Altec Lansing ACS 56 Speakers, which have a SPDIF input on the back. My question, I own a Sound Blaster Live! Value, and am wondering how I would go about setting up the digital input for the spdif? Should I buy a daughter card for the Live!Value? (for example from Hoontech?)
Thanks for you help.

I think he means his Value doesn't have the yellow SPDIF output jack that the newer ones have.
In this case you need either a daughter card, or a simple SPDIF bracket that comes with the FPS2000s
I've got one but I'm right now using it in my FPS2000 system. I dunno if they sell them. I'd recommend trying the hoontech board.

Errr....

I think RS in the UK supplies them, so I guess they should do in the US,

when i got my fps2000 i didn't get any bracket so i called creative and they sent me one for free

i seem to remember them asking for my fps2000 serial number instead of my sblive value number so they may not send it to you without the fps2000..
