I've built several PCs in the past and it's always been a crapshoot as far as reversing the pins (+/-)... for example if the HDD LED is on backwards, the LED won't work though everything else about the PC is fine. Well I just threw an A7V board into an old case and plugged the pins according to the mobo markings which isn't very accurate, but I did it anyway... well it won't power on at all... no beeps, no spin-up, no sound at all - nothing from the power supply... as if the power button wasn't connected to anything. Tried the PWR Switch pin plugged both ways... and I can't find the A7V manual online anywhere (help?) ...

Is it a bad power supply or am I messing up the pins ? Any other ideas ?

thx for the link. Turns out I had the top row switched with the bottom row according to the manual. The markings on the mobo are difficult to read. Anyway, I'm posting from the new machine now. :) Thx again.
